Reign In Your Purpose 🤍

Updated: Feb 8, 2024

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery is not an easy journey and is not for the faint of heart. The era in reigning in your purpose is more than finding who you're meant to be, it's EMBRACING the journey in all its ups and downs, learning to acknowledge and love every part of the process. the good bad, and the ugly.

Once you see and accept that you didn't need to have it all figured out by your 20s. Or by the time everyone says you should have had it figured out. (because no one dictates your growth but YOU.) You later come to the understanding with the acceptance that it is OKAY to make mistakes, it is OKAY to be lost, it is OKAY to take mental breaks, and ITS OKAY TO FALL APART. That right there is the most powerful

step in your self-discovery and love journey

Grace.

However in reality at the end of the day the step that MATTERS the most, is what you choose to do with that understanding once you have it.

You can abuse and keep going through/doing the same shit that's making you feel as if your life has no meaning, while slowly destroying yourself in the process. OR you can choose to do something about it. Reminding yourself every day that even when and if you gotta start over and over again.

YOU. DONT. GIVE. UP!

Every morning God blesses those he believes are worth staying another day, those filled with life, and those still with a PURPOSE to fulfill. Every day is a new day but every day is another day closer to death. So choose life. Choose happiness.

Choose peace. and above all Choose YOURSELF.

It's okay not to know what is destined for you in this life, at this age. Shit, I'm still figuring it out fr. But I think we often forget- especially with the heavy social media influence -that at the end of the day, we're all human, and so are the people on our screens. But most importantly, we're not all the same. We have similar stories and demons we might share, but none of us has truly lived the same life nor could truly comprehend the depths of each other's burdens. We are all walking different paths, once yourself that the length of your journey doesn't determine your worth, credibility, or intelligence. It simply means just simply means you had/have burdens within yourself and or that were unfortunately placed on you by others, that ended up hurting and affecting you more mentally. It's harder for some to break the cycle and it's easier for others.

(I was a mixture of being burdened with the trauma but also still just tryna live life, while making stupid careless judgments in the process, not listening, and simply not caring about the right things or people)

But like I said. We are all different...One thing about it though is that our individuality and our stories are what makes us so unique and what makes our lives have to have meaning even if it a changing one person's life a day at a time while reinventing yours.

Honestly, I still don't know what I'm doing with my life. It's so easy to feel like your behind and honestly, Covid fucked everyone up and as mentioned social media is more bitter than it is sweet at this point.

It's essential when finding your purpose so you can reign, to explore various skill sets and hobbies that genuinely make you happy. That can mean trying new things for some if not most. All while using your successes and failures to learn new things and more about yourself. For others, it's getting back into the things they left behind due to a lack of confidence in themselves or due to a loss of desire. For me, Ima say I know what it's like to have got a lot going on in my brain, and at times, it feels like nothing can make me happy because I'm always battling my thoughts. If it's not overthinking, it's comparing, and if not it's overanalyzing. honestly hell fr. So I know it's easier said than done.

But through establishing my faith in and with God First. I am learning that you have to use those insights to understand yourself better, learn from past mistakes, and ultimately pave the way for your genuine fulfillment.

Sometimes that means making sacrifices, facing truths, and leaving people who hurt you. strength. Every step you take at the end of the day brings you closer to where you truly want to be. This helps you gain a deeper understanding of your passions. So you can pave the way to establish a purpose that aligns with your authentic self. Thus allowing you to lead yourself and others with clarity and with the strong determination and will to pursue your goals. Providing a solid foundation to confidently reign in your chosen path.

I hope this inspires you to set out on a journey to a better you for this 2024 year.
